Ready to dip your toe into the VR waters?  What used to be really expensive has come down in price recently and more so with all the VR headset sales this 4th of July!

This year virtual reality continues to grow by leaps and bounds and it’s not just kids who are enamored by this VR world.  Over the past 2 years they’ve been one of the most requested gifts for Christmas, mainly because they were so expensive that only Santa could help you out with that request.  Fear not, the price of VR headsets are coming way down with more brands entering the market and especially with all the deals being released during the Fourth of July online sale promotion.  Getting up to 40% off is pretty unheard of, so don’t sleep on these deals. Some of the biggest tech geeks that we follow online have researched, reviewed, and regularly used some of the biggest virtual reality brands to see which really are the best.  One of the biggest takeaways from the reviews from PC Mag, CNET, and PC Gamer is that Oculus consistently ranks amongst the best.  Sadly, Oculus doesn’t go on sale a lot, but we are seeing some decent savings this 4th of July! Outside of Oculus, other top brands include the Sony Playstation VR, HTC Vive Pro, the HP Reverb, and the Valve Index.  We’ll do out best to find all the deals that are currently taking place and will continue to update as we get closer to the main event. One additional helpful tip if you’re looking to save even more is to go with a refurbished model when it comes from a retailer you’re used to purchasing from like Amazon, Gamestop, or even Walmart.  A lot of times refurbished VR headsets are tested to make sure they’re in perfect working condition.  Sometimes these refurbished items were just simply returned and may not have ever even been used.  They’re worth the look.
