If you’re a major sports fan (almost bordering nut) the only place we’ll shop (really) for officially licensed pro team (and college) merch is Lids. What started out as just a hat company has now morphed into a one-stop-shop where you can get just about anything under the sun from your favorite team. And you don’t have to worry about counterfeit merch like with some other places (we don’t name names). While you can always find some cool sports stuff at places like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nordstrom Rack, and even sometimes at Urban Outfitters – we definitely recommend your first stop being Lids. We’ve been shopping with them for over 15 years and even when we couldn’t get to their store (thanks pandemic), we’ve been able to get everything we need directly from their website.

They really do have everything official from just about every team, in every sport, and just about every size. And while many folks typically cater to guys when it comes to sports merch, the people at Lids equally focus on women and kids too. Selfishly speaking, we find it so refreshing to see that the women’s merch isn’t just pink. Why is it that everyone else seems to only have pink options for women? News Flash: We don’t all love pink. In fact, some of us don’t like it at all!

So by supporting them you’re also helping to support important organizations at the same time. A win-win.

What’s Their Promo Code Policy?

Lids is actually pretty good when it comes to coupons and promo codes. They list them directly on their site so there’s no guessing as to what their offers are, what’s active, and what code will actually work. You can see them here.

While we don’t have any promo codes here we also noticed that some other websites don’t seem to have any that work. So while you’re free to do whatever you’d like, we recommend not wasting your time trying to hunt them down because you’ll basically be out of luck.
