We feel the same way about Pier 1 as we did about Barnes & Noble, where we were in love with just browsing the aisle to see all the new arrivals they had. We’d spend upwards of an hour just walking around. We were devastated when they started to close their stores, but they brought us back to life when they kept their online presence up and running. And while it doesn’t feel exactly the same, we find ourselves clicking around their site to get some inspiration for just about every room in our home.

When we’d shop inside their store we probably never even went to their website once. But as time as gone on and we’ve bought more and more home decor and furniture from other online retailers like Wayfair, Houzz, and even All Modern we became more comfortable with picking up new items without being able to touch and feel them. Hey, there’s always returns, right?
When we were in the thick of the pandemic, Pier 1 really helped us out a ton because we basically upgraded just about every room in our home – and even our outdoor space. We all were stuck at home either working or – if you have kids – learning from home and there was barely an escape. So why not make our everyday space new, fresh, and as zen as humanly possible? If you’re nervous about buying some of their bigger items, like furniture, on their site don’t stress because most things can be returned within 30 days. Of course some restrictions apply, but overall if you’re unhappy with what you bought you can most likely just send it back.
In a time where we could all use a little upgrade to our lives, give Pier 1 a try. They really do have the coolest items and stuff you won’t find in everyone else’s home. We think you’re going to really love your experience. We’re obsessed!
