We’re continuing our series on reviewing and highlighting (and gushing a bit) on female owned businesses. We’re big believers in women supporting women – and so should you. This time around our latest obsessions is basically everything that furniture and home decor company Lulu and Georgia have to offer. We’re in the middle of a home renovation and are looking for things that are unique and, quite frankly, steers clear of that Pottery Barn look (no intended shade). If you haven’t heard of L&G yet, they’re more than worth checking them out.

To be honest, sometimes we forget about the LA-based retailer because we’re on the east coast, but they always pop up on our Insta feed providing endless inspiration for us. Speaking of which, you really must follow them on Insta because they have so many great ideas and – well – more than 800,000 followers can’t be wrong!

Lulu and Georgia have been covered by some of the top design publishers out there like Architectural Digest for their unique must-have pieces to their amazing once-a-year Friends and Family sale. Those really were the only stamps of approval we needed to give us that extra confidence boost while trying to find some truly unique pieces for both inside and outside of our home.

So much of what they carry is soft, bright, airy and clean – all the vibes we’re going for especially post-pandemic where we now really understand the concept of a calming and bright space to live and work in. But regardless of that, they really have something for just about every style and vibe you’re looking for. Some of our faves from them include:

And that’s really just name a few of our latest obsessions. It’s like once you find a designer you vibe with, you never want to look anywhere else. Although, of course we still get some of our inspiration from places like Houzz, All Modern, and even Birch Lane – but Lulu and Georgia seem to really stay with that consistent look and feel we’re going for.

Being on the east coast we really value the time we can spend outside in the warmer weather. So that’s why we’ve carved out a little extra budget for transforming our backyard into a peaceful and relaxing escape. They have such a wide variety of outdoor furniture and decor to choose from and – sure – while some of it is a little pricy, for us, it’s totally worth it. Some of our outdoor faves include:

We’ve really had such a great experience with Lulu and Georgia and think you’re going to fall in love with them as much as we have. You can look to them for some design inspiration and it’ll help you pull all your rooms together – even without hiring a professional. It’s always great to support a female owned business and try something besides those big box retailers. Clearly, we’re obsessed!

What’s Their Promo Code Policy?

Clearly we love a bargain just like the next gal, so we wanted to research their coupon policy a bit to see if it even existed. After some analysis we learned that, yes, Lulu and Georgia does accept promo codes on their site during the checkout process. They even have a section on their site listing out any current discount codes and offers they have – check that out here.

But here’s the thing. Their website is the only place you’ll find valid offers that work. It must come directly from them. And while we don’t have any exclusive offers here, we have seen a couple on their site that we wanted to share with you.
